I have been here before and to their other locations. Their menudo tastes just like my mom's. Menudo is simple to me: the tripe, hominy, and the salsa. I don't think you should add oregano and all the other things other people add to theirs. Let that be at your will. I have been to other places that put an abundant amount of oregano mixed in, and it overpowers it. This day I tried the blanco, and it was still flavorful! I paired it with a chocoflan, and I know people don't like to hear this, but the chocolate cake was super moist! It was the best chocoflan that I have had so far! Make sure to try their quesabirrias de chivo.

First time in phoenix and was looking for authentic tacos, took a chance with this place and was a bit disappointed. I want to start off by saying the fish taco with the chipotle sauce was delicious, the birria quesadilla was also good, not the best I’ve had but good. Rice and beans were super flavorful as well. Now for the not so good, the horchata was powder which was very disappointing, al pastor was lackluster to say the least and the carne asada was horrible. Pros and cons at this spot but I hope it improves it has potential!

The fish taco was really good but the other was a little bit disappointing. The birria taco is pretty good and so is the asada. The soup was a bit too expensive for the amount of meat included.
